Sokrates Product Bundles (Cowork, Code, Compound)
Summary
The Sokrates service offering is structured into three distinct tiers—Cowork, Code, and Compound—designed to transition Icelandic SMEs from basic AI augmentation to fully autonomous operations. This framework serves as both a product roadmap and a sales psychology strategy, moving from increasing employee speed to enabling new capabilities and finally achieving functional autonomy.
Details
The Sokrates product architecture is defined by three “bundles” that represent phase transitions in how a business utilizes AI. These bundles were finalized to replace earlier, more generic terminology (such as “Coding” or “Environments”) to create a cohesive, alliterative brand identity that aligns with the project’s “compounding thesis.”
The Three Bundles
- Cowork (Augment): This is the entry-level tier focused on efficiency. It augments existing employees with AI and automation tools, allowing them to complete their current tasks significantly faster. The value proposition is “safety”—it does not change the nature of the work or the headcount, but optimizes the output of the existing workforce.
- Code (Enhance): The second tier enables employees to solve problems that were previously unassailable or required outsourcing. It expands the capability set of the workforce, moving from simple speed to complex problem-solving. This stage is designed to build “ambition” within the client organization.
- Compound (Autonomize): The final tier involves the deployment of bespoke agents that act as fully autonomous employees. In this phase, the human employee becomes optional for specific functions. The name “Compound” carries triple significance:
- Agent Capability: Agents compound in skill and utility with every engagement via the underlying knowledge basis.
- Business Signal: The business itself compounds because each environment agent generates signals that improve the performance of all future agents.
- Strategic Alignment: It echoes the “compounding thesis” found in the Sokrates business plan, where “the compounding is the timeline.”
Strategic Rationale
The sequence of these bundles is a deliberate sales strategy. Sokrates leads with Cowork because it is a low-friction sell that builds trust by making existing staff more productive. Once trust is established, the client is moved to Code to expand their operational horizons. Only after these stages is Compound introduced, as it addresses the ultimate executive desire for autonomous functional units—a goal that is often too disruptive to lead with in initial meetings. “You don’t lead with Compound. You earn Compound.”
Implementation and Integration
The Cowork-Code-Compound nomenclature has been integrated across all Sokrates documentation, including:
- The product roadmap and headings.
- Technical architecture descriptions.
- Build-vs-buy analysis.
- Scaling paths and Intellectual Property (IP) sections.
- The business plan v3, specifically linking the “compounding timeline” to the final product tier.
